Join us for our first annual holiday tree decorating content in the heart of San Marco Square, benefiting our local schools and non-profit organizations! Let your business & creativity shine as you transform a holiday tree into a festive masterpiece!

    • Holiday Tree: 6 - 8’ holiday tree set up in the Square

    • LED lights (colored or white)

    • Tree Base: Weatherproof tree base

    • Signage: Logo signage promoting your business and partnering school or organization with voting link

    • Exposure: Signage around the Square, in local San Marco businesses, as well as an event feature on River City Live. Social media collaboration with local influencers promoting the event and encouraging the city to come to San Marco and participate

    Each business and their paired organization are responsible for their own decorations, decorating, and break down. Trees will be set up by SMMA on Monday, 12/2. Breakdown should take place on Friday, 1/3.

  • Find a local school or non-profit organization to partner with and sponsor. A portion of the monetary votes generated from your tree will go to the school or organization that you choose.

  • Let your imagination run wild! Decorate your tree with your own unique style and flair. Ask your collaborating school or non-profit to take part in the decorating efforts.

  • Encourage friends, family, patrons, and neighbors to come vote for your tree through the QR code voting website link displayed in front of your tree. Each vote is $1 and there is no limit on the number of votes that can be cast. Your business and corresponding school or non-profit can ask the community to come out and vote for your tree!

Winning Prizes

The tree with the most community votes receives a plaque for the winning business and free entry into the event the following year. The winner’s partnering school or non-profit will receive the largest amount of monetary donations through voting!

But everyone wins, as each school or organization partnering with a sponsoring business tree will receive a portion of the voting proceeds from their individual tree!
