San Marco's iconic Preservation Hall is proudly featured in "Spires in the Sun: The Carpenter Gothic Episcopal Churches of Florida," by Jonathan Rich. The SMPS, in collaboration with the St. John’s Cathedral Bookstore and Gift Shop, is pleased to host Jonathan for an author talk at Preservation Hall, 1652 Atlantic Blvd.
"Southbank Sojourn," produced by San Marco historians Robin Robinson and George Foote, will also be available at the event. This photographic journey through the early days of San Marco and South Jacksonville earned an Award of Distinction from the Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission in 2011 and is in its second edition.
The SMPS is pleased to offer this free event to kick off its 2025 Centennial Lecture Series. Donations received from the event will directly support the ongoing preservation and care of the historic Preservation Hall and Stockton Cottage. Your RSVP is actually free and helps us with space because of limited seating. So, don't wait to grab your spot!
