The City of Jacksonville is thrilled to present the inaugural Holiday River Fest on Saturday, November 29, 2025! This free, family-friendly celebration will fill both the Northbank and Southbank with festive cheer, offering a full lineup of holiday experiences across Downtown Jacksonville. Highlights include:
Christmas Tree Lighting at Riverfront Plaza | Sponsored by Jacksonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, featuring Mayor Donna Deegan, WJXT’s Rance Adams, performances from ELF the Musical, Scott Jones School of Dance, and SK8hers Inc. Snacks, hot cocoa and adult beverages will be available courtesy of Friends of JWJ Park. Performances begin at 5:00 PM; Tree Lighting at 6:15 PM.
Friendship Fountain Activities | Holiday lights and music show, Silent Disco (6–9 PM), food trucks, and festive beverages.
Annual Light Boat Parade | A fleet of decorated boats will illuminate the river beginning at 6:30 PM as they travel along the Northbank and Southbank.
Fireworks Finale | Sponsored by Bank of America, featuring the signature “waterfall” effect off the Main Street and Acosta bridges. Fireworks begin at approximately 8:00 PM after the boat parade ends.
JAX Artist Walk on Ice | Ice skating (10 AM–10 PM) and a holiday market (2–8 PM). Reservations at jaxonice.com are strongly recommended.
